What is a thinking school like?  How can students become more mindful of their thinking and learning?  What are the leadership apporaches to managing this type of change? 

To make thinking deep and rich it takes a carefully managed school wide approach. School leaders need to be able to guide students, teachers and parents through the implementation steps and then sustain a culture of thinking.

Outcomes

• Identify the implementation steps needed to become a Thinking School and look at different approaches towards taking these steps 
• Understand the role of leadership within the environment of a Thinking School
• Explore a range of thinking skills
• Find out how thinking can be infused and embedded into the life of a thinking and learning community
